Methacrylic Acid Copolymer L-30 D is a 30% aqueous dispersion of methacrylic acid – ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1). It only needs a plasticiser and anti-tack agent to make a complete enteric coating suspension.
The film dissolves above pH 5.5, giving gastro-resistance with a fully water-based process.
