Ultracoat Aqueous Enteric Coating is a methacrylic acid copolymer based system that disperses in water. The film stays intact in the acidic stomach and dissolves in the higher pH of the small intestine.
It protects acid-labile drugs from degradation and protects the stomach from irritating APIs, and is designed to meet pharmacopoeial gastro-resistance requirements.
Full specifications, test methods and regulatory documents are shared with customers on request.
